Orion AstroTrack

If you have a telescope mounted on an EQ-1 or EQ-2 equatorial mount, you can now enjoy automatic star-tracking for less money. Our inexpensive AstroTrack DC electronic drive moves the telescope at the same rate the Earth rotates, to keep the object you're observing in the scope's field of view. Much more convenient than using the manual slow-motion controls to adjust the telescope's position from minute to minute!

The AstroTrack's precision DC servo motor has adjustable speed control. A disengage knob allows manual operation of the scope with the motor drive still attached. There are no cables or handboxes to deal with. The AstroTrack runs on a single 9-volt alkaline battery (included) that tucks away inside the motor housing. Installation is not difficult, and the bracket, mounting hardware, and illustrated instructions are all included.

AstroTrack for EQ-1
This model fits the EQ-1 mount and the following Orion telescopes: Observer 60 EQ, Observer 70 EQ, ShortTube 80 EQ, ShortTube 80mm Min-EQ, StarMax 90mm EQ, Apex 90 Min-EQ, and ShortTube 4.5 EQ.

AstroTrack for EQ-2
This model fits the EQ-2 mount and the following Orion telescopes: SpaceProbe 130 and 130ST EQ, StarMax 102, AstroView 90 EQ, and ShortTube 90 EQ. Also fits some Celestron telescopes.
